OUR BELIEFS
- We believe there is one God,1 who is infinitely perfect,2 existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 1. Isaiah 44:6 & 45:5-6 2. Matthew 5:48 & Deuteronomy 32:4
- We believe that Jesus is God the Son. He came to us as fully man and fully God, taking on Himself a human body when He was born of the virgin, Mary. John 1:1-14
- We believe that Jesus died on the cross in our place so that our sins against God might be forgiven. It remains our choice to place our trust in Him alone for our forgiveness. The result of trusting Jesus as our life’s leader is eternal spiritual life with God. John 3:16
- We believe that Jesus rose from the dead, an event occurring time and space, giving us a faith based on fact. 2 Peter 1:16
- We believe The Holy Spirit is a divine Person, sent to indwell,1guide, teach and empower the believer, and to convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment.2 1. John 14: 16-17 2. John 16:7-11; 1 Corinthians 2:10-12
- We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, given to us as a Life-Guide in all areas of precept and principle. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- We believe this gift of eternal life cannot be earned or deserved in any way. It is given to us by God’s grace through faith in His Son. Ephesians 2:8-9
